The Online Java Client

To connect to Legends of Kallisti, simply click on the button above the menu on the left. A new window will appear and you will be prompted for your character name and password.

Is Java Enabled in My Browser?

If you are using a browser version 3 or above and are not sure whether or not Java is enabled, please follow these instructions:

Microsoft Internet Explorer:

Click on Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Scroll down until you find the section for Java Virtual Machine and make sure the JVM has a check mark in it. Press Ok (or Cancel if it has a check already).

Netscape (or any other Gecko-based browser, including Mozilla):

Click on Edit > Preferences > Advanced. Make sure the box marked Enable Java is checked. Press Ok (or Cancel if it has a check already).

Opera:

Click on Tools > Preferences > Multimedia. Make sure the box marked Enable Java is checked. Press Ok (or Cancel if it has a check already).

If you do not have a Java Virtual Machine installed, you may wish to install one. We recommend the Sun Java available here. Note: Microsoft has discontinued its support of the Microsoft Java VM. It is highly recommended that Sun Java be installed in its place.

No Java Installed?

If you would like to connect to Legends of Kallisti via the web and do not have a Java compatible browser, you may wish to download one from Microsoft, Mozilla, or Opera. There are browsers for a wide variety of platforms available from these three organizations. Firefox, from Mozilla, is particularly useful and is also far more secure than Internet Explorer.

You may also wish to try connecting using telnet or a MUD client to help decide which method is best for you.
